Vedhanti Bahuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha AndhaliEducation
We established schools and colleges for primary education, secondary education, and higher education for underprivileged children. Our aim is to spread awareness about the importance of literacy and motivate as many aspirants as we can to inculcate at least the basic parts of practical knowledge, necessary to survive the battle of life.
Health
We organize diagnostic programs for all types of health problems. We arrange Health Awareness Meet, Medical Education, AIDS Control Programs, Old Age Homes, Cancer Control Programs, Bird Flu, and Swine Flu Control Programs along with family planning measures and benefits, organizing family welfare programs, Implementing National Rural Health Campaigns, and De-addiction programs.
Women’s Welfare
We organize social justice and women’s welfare programs in collaboration with the Department Of Human Resource Development. Our members also provide special and general education for women’s employment, healthcare facilities, adolescent welfare and care of pregnant women, controlling sexual exploitation, prostitution, and organizing shelters for widows and homeless women.
Child Welfare
The members of our organization conduct welfare programs for children and infants by constructing orphanages, health education, immunization, etc.
Rural Development
Evolving and growing urbanization has completely left the rural sections in disguise. Making modern societies more advanced won’t contribute to development entirely rather it will deplete the possibilities if things get worse. As concerned citizens and responsible social workers, we’ve made our progress to make these remote villages nothing less than an urban sector or at least improve the basic necessities such as a well-maintained drainage system, well-planned water channels, and most importantly good health facilities like suitable doctors and construction of more well-equipped hospitals. Other than that, we’ve improved the road conditions by transforming most of the kutcha roads into metalled roads for better transportation networks. We Constructed and are running Schools, colleges, education institutions, free dispensaries, a Centre for poor feeding, and homes for the aged for the benefit of the public.
Land & Water Management
We follow the policy of land and water management as per the Govt. of India and the State Government to improve land conservation, water conservation, watershed, rainwater harvesting, water recharging, irrigation system, protection of conventional water sources, drinking water pollution, flood control, and disaster relief work.
SC, ST, & Backward Classes Welfare Program
VBSSA conducts welfare programs for SC, ST, and backward classes by initiating opportunities related to their employment, education, and health. We further organize technical trainings, seminars, stories, awareness campaigns, etc.
Handicapped Welfare Program
We’ve programs of the Disability Welfare Department, Social Justice, and Rights Department, and at the same time, we also organize programs related to leprosy control, visually impaired, physically and mentally handicapped, mental retardation, and other types of handicapped persons. Other than that we’ve recently initiated employment-generation programs, special schools for educational purposes, the creation and distribution of assistive devices and prostheses, seminars, stories, and awareness programs.
Sports & Youth Welfare Program
We emphasize sports and youth welfare programs as well. Organizing schools, stadium construction, training, adventure programs, job creation awareness programs, and sports training programs for the purpose of physical education.
Urban Development
We are constantly working for the welfare of slums, to ensure proper sanitation, availability of drinking water, the establishment of schools and colleges in the town, awareness programs for children and women, employment training, etc.
VBSSA is also determined to work on urban and civic development, town planning, municipal corporation, and Nagarpalika Parishad Nagar Panchayat policies.
Program of Tourism & Cultural Development
We organize cultural programs like dance, drama, seminars, cultural development, puppet making, protection of national monuments, protection of local heritage, tourism development, education, etc.
Minority Welfare Program
As a charitable organization, we organize welfare programs for the minorities of Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis, etc communities. To serve this purpose we’ve established schools and colleges, job creation and training programs, and seminars.
Village Industries Welfare Program
In order to provide employment to the vulnerable people in rural areas, by establishing and organizing small/large scale industries. They obtain loans from Khadi Village Industries Board and other financial institutions. We also give importance to rural village industries, education and training, striving for job creation, and different handicrafts programs.
Prevention of Covid-19 Infection
The economic downfall was clearly visible during the outbreak of Covid-19 and so our organization took the initiative to offer a little help within our best possible capabilities. We handed over a check of rupees 51000/- to Hon’ble District Magistrate Saheb of Gadchiroli in the District Aid Fund to prevent Covid-19 infection. We reached out to numerous families and took responsibility for their survival necessities as well.
Vedanti Integrated Rehabilitation Center
This Centre was first started in 2009 as a De-addiction center. It was later on converted on 27/02/2016 into 15 Bedded Treatment-Cum-Rehabilitation Centres, it still continues and 15 staff members are working in different capacities. This Centre gives advice to habitual drinkers free of cost. The Social workers of the Centre go to the villages, organize village
meetings, discuss their problems, face-to-face, and advise them not to take any drugs, which mars health and mental capacity. This Centre does this all through street shows handbills and rallies by which the message is sent to the villages so that how dangerous, it is to be drug addicts.A beautiful garden is established in front of the center, where the patient goes there and takes around and enjoys the beauty of nature. Due to this patients are attracted to the Centre. The monthly attendance of the patient is nearly sixteen in I.P.D. and 22 to 25 in O.P.D. The staff in the center gives the patient treatment, breakfast, dinner, exercise, yoga, and medicine all free of cost. The center so far treated patients and they were saved from family mishaps.
The staff at the center moves from village to village, finds out about the drug addicts, and guides them. Those in the danger zone are admitted to the center and they are treated so that their health is improved. The Social Workers at the center through counseling make them aware of the danger of Drugs and caution them not to take drugs of any kind. When he goes to his home, he becomes completely free from drugs. The Social Worker at the center does this without violating his status in society. They also visit the drug addicts in their homes and advice them, whenever they found the patients are relapsed.
Maintenance of Senior Citizens’ Homes for 50 elderly Women

In the year 2019-2020 various activities are successfully taken by the institution.
In this backward area, this society has registered under the Indian society act 21st of 1860 MH/Gad No. MPT-1950, and F-5506 (Gadchiroli) this is all India organizations. The main object or motto of the society is during work to uplift poor family their lives “No Loss No Profit” the main problem of this area is that most quantities of people are uneducated and not conscious of their problems.
How to give the list of them and try to uplift their lives., this is the main motto,
target. The object of our society. Only for the sake of this, our society has taken the more useful programs for them for progressive and prosperous lives.
In the academic year 2019-2020, our society has taken many programs in particularly backward tribal areas. Sensitization of school/college students for old age person program Dist.Gadchiroli, SHG Programme, youth game & sports camp, De-Addiction treatment, Guidance Camp, Ayurvedic Guidance Camp, Homeopathic Camp, a Daycare center for an old person with Dementia At. Gadchiroli, Maharashtra is seriously taken by our society.
Gadchiroli District is many backward and Nuxlite District in Maharashtra S.C. The community is very big percentage and poor condition. Many Citizen older person is niradhar. Organizations give entry into old age homes and give good service to time life free food, rea, and many old people take the opportunity.
In old age homes, 25 twenty-five older people are admitted in 2019-2020 in area much older people are more to old age homes our organization has many programs, the camp was taken in the nearest village and our workers are going to the field and told for old age homes take benefits from old age home.
